Trekking for Beginners

Trekking can be lot of fun. It may be difficult to get a good start when you are a beginner but nevertheless, it can be made easy by following the basic rules and tips.
When you are going trekking as a beginner, remember to carry essentials like a windcheater, plastic bags, and a small army knife. Windcheaters are very effective against the cold and rain. While trekking, try not light a fire unless it is absolutely necessary. Make sure that while trekking, you do not leave any garbage or trash.
When you go trekking, avoid shorts. Instead try and wear long track points and tee shirts with full sleeves. A 50 meter long rope is a must while trekking, so are maps and compasses. Carbohydrate rich foodstuffs are necessary. Before you go trekking, check the weather forecasts carefully and buy a good sleeping bag. Remember to keep plenty of matchboxes in water resistant zip lock bags.
