Mountaineering Fees Set to Rise in the Next Season at Denali National Park

Denali National Park recently announced that it will be increasing its mountaineering use fee in the next 2012 mountaineering season.
The park will offer two different mountaineering fees for the first time. People who are younger than 25 years old will be charged $250 and for everyone else mountaineering fees will be $350.The fees also apply to the climbers of Mt. Foraker.
All the money which comes from mountaineering fees goes to support expenses associated with the high-altitude ranger station that helps with rescues on the mountain.
There were several discussions held on how to help cover the costs at park. And finally, after a long public process, the fee was increased. To keep up with inflation, the park may increase the fee every year.
