Bouldering the New Way to Fitness

Hiking, rock climbing, bouldering are no longer an outdoor sport, with more and more gyms offering these adventure sports indoors.
Bouldering is different than rock climbing as it is a solo activity. One doesn't need the roped technique with teams or partners to pursue bouldering. Bouldering is less high than climbing, but the solo effort makes the climb more intense.
Gyms like Rogue rock gym and Seattle Bouldering project, have invested millions to give climbers the authentic natural habitat feel of bouldering.
Bouldering can be considered the stepping stone to climbing. In Rock climbing there is the cumbersome handling of various equipments like harness, rope knots etc. The trend for rock gyms started in Seattle sometime in the ninety's.
